Beautiful Art in a Lovely Outdoor Setting
MPA artfest offers an entertaining experience for all ages and the chance to be among the first to view and purchase work from a diverse group of notable juried artists. McLean Central Park will become a lively landscape of mini-galleries displaying paintings, drawings, prints, sculpture, photography and fine crafts by more than 30 local and regional artists. MPA artfest is a must-see for art fair lovers.

Participating Artists

In case of rain, MPA artfest will move indoors to the McLean Community Center, adjacent to McLean Central Park at 1234 Ingleside Avenue.

Children’s Art Tent and Art Walk
Budding artists will be able to create their own works of art at the Children’s Art Tent. Next to children’s play area.
Also visit the Children’s Art Walk featuring the work of young artists from McLean area schools. Library path.

On Stage
The Gazebo will feature a variety of performers all day. Enjoy the R & B rhythms of the Tommy Lepson Band along with the country vintage rock of The Cutaways, the jazz sounds of The Oscillators, young voices from the World Children’s Choir and a McLean Orchestra ensemble. McLean & Great Falls Celebrate Virginia will present a preview from the upcoming Alden Theatre production “Captain John Smith: History of McLean and Great Falls” written and performed by talented area residents. Festive Food

Visitors can treat themselves to a delicious selection of refreshments from local restaurants, including Lebanese Taverna, Moorenko’s Ice Cream Café and Vinson Hall. Next to children’s play area.

Parking
Convenient satellite parking will be available at Cardinal Bank located at the intersection of Dolley Madison Boulevard (Rte.123) and Beverly Road. From there, free and frequent shuttle bus service will ferry passengers to and from the event site.

A drop-off area and limited parking, including Handicap Access spaces, will be located in the parking areas at Dolley Madison Library and the McLean Community Center off of Ingleside Avenue. On-site golf carts will provide assistance to event patrons on request. Please do not park on neighborhood streets.
